After tearing my ears away from the Gwen McCrae definitive collection whilst surfing the internet I stumbled across the London Design Festival website and found ”JUNCTION: An Exhibition with no limits”. Running from 10th-19th September 2010 on Camden high street. JUNCTION shall be offering a pick ‘n’ mix from film, video, sculpture, architecture, installation, drawing, painting, collage, photography, writing, music, design, fashion, performance and everything in between.
Look out for hand made zines at ‘Adorno’s Porno’ and burlesque from The Shimmy Shakers and Heartbreakers . The highlights of the week for me will most likely be the fashion event ”Juncture” on Wednesday 15th showcasing some of London’s best underground designers. Also an ancient traditional chinese tea ceremony on the ”Tea & Cake” night on the 16th . If you are in the area it might be worth popping along.
