Why we love her: Morgan’s “Alphabet of Hookers” is an ongoing series, a sort of whore-oral-history in LiveJournal form. Each installment is a gloriously unglorified snapshot of a sex worker who’s passed through Morgan’s circles of friends and colleagues. (Ken Burns, you will so be on this in fifteen years.) You wonder why more sex workers don’t write so super-explicitly on their websites about all that behind-closed-doors action? O, Canada: thank you for your slightly more liberal laws around prostitution, and thank you for Morgan. Her most recent Voice Post on how to give a dominant blow job is equal parts honest and hot.
Why we love her even more: One of Morgan’s newest projects, Sex-Work.org, is slated to be the Web’s first true one-stop-shop for sex workers and their clients. Not even fully launched quite yet, the site is already filling up with comprehensive how-to’s and all manner of worker resources. Morgan values erotic professionals from across the spectrum, contributing to the cause of making the world a better place not just for whores, but also those who love them, whether that’s a paying client or a civilian partner.
